Well here goes - light rain, a bit of a blow, no light and UXB's all over the beach - God Donna was fun today!
Had to wait about 30mins for this little chap to turn round in the grass but we got there in the end.

Looks like a great day photographizing even though you say the weather was bad.
I would be chuffed to bits if this was mine & your patients became fruitful.
Well taken Andy

Hello Andy
It was nice meeting you today, next time you go to Donna can you let me know .
I like this shot it is different from most of the stuff you see from there, so not a wasted journey.

Is a UXB an unexploded bomb? Looks like a dark day from your tecs, still you've caught this sweet thing well.
Gear OK?

Lovely image Andy from a place I've always wanted to visit, maybe next year. Love that catch-light in the pups eye

Nice shot Andy. Seal pups definitely have that "Ahh" factor and you've captured it well. The light did improve later in the morning although we still had showers coming though.

Nice one - sounds like conditions were iffy at best. Think I made the right decision ie not to go. What are UXB's please?

UXB - Unexploded bomb
No sh*t, I got to Donna Nook car park at the end of Marsh lane to be greeted by a very flappy Red Flag, a load of blue and white constabulary cordon tape, a few warning notices and a rather burly representative of that finest of official bodies HM Coastguard.
The beach was closed to all access due to the fact that the surge tide they had Thursday/Friday had washed up a shed load of undetonated warheads - DEEP JOY
