More play with the Tokina 12-24mm, this is was combination of HDR and infra red conversion in CS3. The wren is on the bush, have to squeeze it passed the moderators .
Cheers now

Hi Tim,
I think the spider in the wrens beak makes the picture

Hi Tim - think the feathers on the wren are a bit soft The background is really good though

Where ever the wren is, it is a belting shot. Bet you are pleased with this lens

Hi Tim,
Nice shot , I 'd clone out the wren as I don't think it adds to overall image

Sure you didn't work for Hammer Films in a past life Tim?
If you can get hold of Nik Color Effects2 there's BW and color IR converters in there - greens go magenta - brilliant!
I really like the head turn and double catch-light in the wrens' left eye, superb job - well done mate

Tim,
Wren is a bit tight in the frame for me, but I love the background interest.
I never have much luck with images like this, well done.

Put it away Tim you will wear it out.( I mean the lens)
Its definately a deveation from your norm but a good one at that.
Whats brought about the change?
What! You mean the church wasn't built by Wren ...
Glad to see you're getting out and about - it's the only reason you're getting away with it ... but don't push your luck too much Munsey - we are a Nature photo site after all

A beautiful and surreal habitat view of the common wren. Love it!

I like this one Tim
Looks like the ideal place/subject for the IR treatment, and maybe even some spooky shots
