This is a photo that I've been trying to "find" for years. This year, I was in the right place at the right time. While roaming the Baraboo Hills for other photos, I saw the wagons in the field and thought, hmm, that's OK, but not great. While heading out of the Hills for some lunch, the combine was there. I thought better, but still not quite good enough. Just after I passed by, I saw a farmer coming up the road in his tractor. I watched in my rearview mirror to see if he turned into the field that I'd been spying, and he did. So, I did a 180 and went back for several shots...
I've "pushed" the colors on my monitor so that it looks better when viewed here, as most of the time, my photos look quite bleak when I upload them to NPN.

NIce job with the colors and saturation. This is a great modern harvest scene. If I wanted to really focus on the farming activities, I might crop about half the sky and the FG up to the top of the bare spot below the tractor and a bit off the right side.

I always seem to miss getting shots of harvesting, too, Tim. I like this scene and the fall colors off in the distance.
As for your color problems after posting...make sure your color preferences in PS are set to sRGB. I recently went through the same problem and discovered that somehow my setting was changed, now back to where they should be.
