Short trip this morning with a photo friend down the coast from Carmel, turned inland at Bixby Creek Bridge, then up the canyon to this narrow area of redwoods, ferns and clover; lots of reflected light from the opposite canyon hillside.

Hey Reno,
Nice to see you posting. It was great meeting you at Preston and Dan's camp during the Eastern Sierra outing. Never did hear how you made out driving out in Nevada during the storm.
Very strong image here. I really like the arrangement of the trunks and especially the fading light as you get deeper in the image. I like the soft, reflected light as well.

those are fine looking trees. I'm not really sold on the composition though, they just look kind of haphazardly composed.
Hey Reno, a very nice post here. Oddly, this is along the lines of the discussion we had up at the Mono Lake parking lot with regard to finding decent angle of views on forested trees as the main subject. I think you and Ted headed up to the trees east of Mono Lake as a follow up to that. Anyway, this would be a similar type of shot I felt was part of that talk and find this to be as good as those can be. I personally have never found a scene as nice as this to even make the attempt. A very nice capture on a not so easy subject IMO.
