Fall trail carpet

I took this shot last weekend as part of my focus on getting more "marketable" shots for Kansas tourism & regional magazine submissions. Do any of you shoot with the same intentions and if so, does this shot work for you? Thanks!

I think this has a lot going for it. The trail disappearing into the distance, framed by the two arching trees. The well placed sunburst. The carpet of leaves. It's well composed. Great execution. I'd think it would have a lot of commercial appeal. Well done.

Is this an important location in Kansas? I like the photo a lot mostly because of the eye-catching sunburst, but it doesn't make me want to go to Kansas. Now, if I already lived in Kansas, it probably WOULD make me want to go outside. Is this the kind of feedback you're after?

Nice composition, Wayne. I think my eye would like to see more sunlight on the areas around the sunburst. There just doesn't seem to be enough difference in the light surrounding the starburst and the rest of the scene. I'm looking at this on my monitor at work, so that could be a factor too.

Wayne, nice scene, it makes me want to find out what is around the bend. I think it would work well with or without the sun.

Wayne nice job love the starburst and leaves on the road. I just shoot what I like and I think a fall road piture is always a classic.

Hi. Love the photo, Wayne, but the sunburst is just too strong. Creates a distraction. If it was toned down a bit it would seem more real.
