About three of four weeks ago I went with some friends to Ritchmond park in London. They were severall stonechat and even Two dartford warbler arround.
The Dartford warbler were very difficult to approach but we were lucky with a pair of stonechat. The brakens were changing colour and a lot of them were brown and not very good looking. I was lucky when this male landed on a green one!
That was taken with a 500mm,1.4 converter and the mark3.

What a pretty shot, lovely colours and composition. The light worries me a little, is there flash involved?
Super shot though, wish it were mine.

Its a lovely setting/composition Frederic
Agree with Tim, regarding the light {can't quite put my finger on it}.
A lovely shot!
The tone of the background is just enough to make the similar coloured bird really stand out!!
Great composition great lighting!!
Well done!!

Like the fern and BG. Nicely done but the lighting does seem a bit weird

Haven't seen these at Richmond for a while. I shall keep my eyes peeled. Love the contrast between the perch and background colour. Nice light on the bird and the catch-light gives it that sparkle.

Chris.
I can see where Chris is coming from and the lighting does look a bit 'different' but it's a super image
Very nice shot , super little bird , green fern works really well against the brown BG
