Localized fall color

I took this photograph at the beginning of fall with the hopes of great color. Although I traveled many miles I always came back to this photograph taken not more than 2 miles from my house.

Very nice shot Rod, I like the play between the orange leaf and the blue background.

Nice color combo and light Rod. I find these types of shots extremely difficult to get a good comp. Cropping the right side (to square) would eliminate the leaves in shadow and place even more emphasis on the beautiful detail and color in the main subjects. Just my $.02.

Nice color in both the sky and leaves, Rod. I think Wayne's suggestion might be a good one to try.
