South Mtns.State Park 11/16/07
Sunny cloudless skies that everyone other than photographers love shifted my view to this smaller composition in the stream. Comments appreciated.

I take local back roads but you can get there via Hwy 18S out of Morganton.
They have a popular falls and nice streams. A couple years ago if you couldn't get to Cades Cove then this place was a great park to see deer buttt of course they built a new visitor center in the middle of a meadow and redirected some roads so now I am lucky to see 2 or 3 :-(

bummer, they alway seem to mess things up in the name of progress. There was a great nature photography place in central Fl in Lakeland called Circle B bar Ranch. You could see lots of birds, especially eagles when you first came in under a large canopy of beautiful oak trees. The last I heard, they are in the middle or maybe done paving that once peaceful dirt trail to the lake to lead to a new visitor center and educational building. I am sure that took care of all the great eagles you could find along that trail.
