Well, my book, "Seasons of Light" - Impressions of Steamboat Springs and the Yampa Valley, is out---192 pages of photographs with a foreword by Verne Lundquist and text by Tom Ross. It's now on the shelf at The Tattered Cover and soon at Barnes & Noble and others in Denver in addition to stores here in Steamboat. And, I have a presentation and signing scheduled at the Lodo Tattered Cover on December 6 at 7:30 pm. I hope some of you can make it so it's not just my wife and daughter in the audience! (I'll add a reminder a few days beforehand).
You can check it out at http://www.rodhanna.com/book.php. Look especially at the cool page-turner preview feature!

Congratulations, Rod, it looks beautiful, with a dynamic cover shot. Love the page-turner preview feature which I also experienced on a Utah Travel site as well. Very cool effect. Good luck with the book signing!

After you showing me the teaser of the book at the breakfast place in Aspen I am really looking forward to seeing it in it's completed form. I plan on attending your signing. There you go, now there will be 4 of us minimum!

Wow, really great, Rod! And I do love that page-turning feature . I will be in Steamboat in December (assuming there is snow :-) and will stop by and pick up a copy.
I should be in town that day and will try to be there for you.
Congrats.

Rod, that is simply one of the most beautiful book presentations I've ever seen! And that's just from the teaser stuff on your site. If I order one directly from your site, can you sign it? (I like buying direct, since you get the lion's share of the dough, unlike if I'd bought it in a book store.)

That is an awesome preview! I'm gonna purchase the book for sure. I'd love to go there and get some of those horse images...when is the best time of year for that? Are there horse ranches or ranges up there?

Congrats, Rod! Looks Beautiful.

Congrats, Rod. I'd also be interested in buying it from your site, if it's available. I avoid LODO like the plague but may come down anyway.

Rod - congratulations on getting the book out.
I had the chance to preview the mock-up of the book earlier this year, and I have to say it is truly a gorgeous book filled with great photography.
Congrats! The book looks gorgeous - I did the preview and wanted to just keep going. I guess that's the idea. Can't wait to own one.

Hey guys,
Thanks so much for all your terrific comments! I was out of town for a couple of days and just now getting back to the forum. Todd, you can buy the book right on my website---just click on the "Purchase Now" button on the book section, and of course I can sign it and personalize it for you, and thanks again for your compliments about the book. I so appreciate being a part of this group and the support we give to each other. I look forward to seeing some of you at the presentation on Dec. 6.
I learned so much in the past year doing this self-publishing project, and am willing to share some of that experience with anyone thinking of doing their own book.
