My normal mode of operation during the week is to flag those images that I think are most worthy of consideration for the EP and then review them on Sunday before consulting the ouija board and other forms of expert analysis. I usually have between 8 - 10 shots I seriously consider. I try to post links to the runners up as well as to the final pick. Well, this past week I had no less than 24 images flagged! This was far and away the most spectacular week this forum has enjoyed since I've become moderator. I did finally judge Mike Moats' Largetooth Aspens the best of a fabulous lot. Thanks to all who post and comment on the finest Flora forum on the planet. Keep 'em coming! >=))>

Good work Mike, it really helps to me measure my work.

Great choice Bill. Congrats Mike. Flora is (are?) really cooking these days. I am attracted by choice of subject, but most amused by composition. There is a very impressive range of both talents shown in Flora. The thing I strive for is an intersection of subject, composition and technical excellence. Mike Moats has found a sweet spot and keeps hitting them out of the park.

Congratulations Mike, I missed your shot during the week but I'm glad to catch up it now. Brilliant work as always.

Congrats, Mike!
