Another from our camera club outing in Newaygo. Does this work or is the leafless tree in the left FG a hindrance?

Toni, I like the vertcal lines and the colors, but don't feel that the tree in the left FG adds anything to the image. If it were more vertical, it might be OK, but the strong angle makes it a bit distracting. Maybe a crop from the top and left edge of the red tree?

Thanks,Chuck...that's what I was afraid of. I tried cropping from the left and top as you suggested, but wasn't too happy with the result. I'll play with it some more and see if a crop grows on me.
Toni, I think I'm with Chuck on this one, I can definitely see what drew you to the scene, but I'm not sure this one is gonna work the way I'm guessing you hoped it would. Been there, done that!!

Thanks, CJ. I did find a couple different compositions of this tree in my RAW files..maybe I can make one of them work!

Toni--Yes the leafless tree takes a lot away from the image.
Dammit--I miss those reds out here!
