I'm not sure I recall seeing this one Preston if you had posted it here before. It sure does remind one of that area, although I have only been to Sonora Pass a few times, this could be most small waterfall scenes anywhere in the sierras. I always like the placement of FG shoreline or rocks as seen here. It seems to give more interest to a water scene and allows the person to understand some scale of the water area being photographed. The complete cluster of rocks around the entire scene makes it a perfect framing for this image. The detail and color in these fairly good sized boulders is super too. Looking at the one boulder to the left of the bottom cascade it looks like it actually has a crack and water is flowing through it with two small flows too. I cannot say I have ever seen that kind of thing before, very unique. A wonderful scene captured perfectly.

Very pretty scene, Preston! I very much like the composition and I like the slight blue tone. It feels like early morning.

Hi Preston,
I remember this photo from last year. I liked it very much then and the same now. The light in this one is incredible - has an wonderful glow about it. Thanks for showing it again.

Hey Preston,
This looks familiar! Well, sort of, since you showed this to me later in the summer of this year. This is excellent. I especially like the inclusion of the foreground rocks. They frame the pool nicely and the cascades are wonderful and have a good amount of detail. Great composition Preston.
