After years of being a moderator in the Earth, Sea and Sky gallery, Dan Baumbach is taking a much deserved break from the task. Our thanks to Dan for his help and inspiration!

Stepping up to take Dan's place is long time NPN member Lon Overacker. Lon has been a regular ESS gallery participant and we have no doubt he will be a great asset to those who post in that gallery.

So thanks to Dan and Lon for your time and dedication! :toast:

Dan,

Thanks for all of your insight through the years and I hope you get to photograph more with the extra time off! Congratulations Lon on what I consider to be quite an honor... You're the perfect choice to take over the helm!

I will certainly second what Mike said. Both of you continue to be an ispiration. Dan, I hope you enjoy the extra time, and Lon, where should be send the bribe money for EP's?

I already noticed Lon's name up in lights at the top of the ESS pages. I have always enjoyed his insightful comments in the forums and I think he is the perfect choice to step in. Congratulations Lon. A big thank you to Dan for his hard work over the years and I hope you have a rewarding break.

Thanks, Dan. I've always appreciated your comments.

Lon! Congratulations! Delighted to have you be moderator of ESS. You've taught me a lot over this summer with my tries at ESS images. Your comments in particular have clarified a lot of things for which I was searching for inspiration. :toast:

Sounds like a win/win situation all around. Dan, thanks for all your input and the overall time you spent helping out with ESS, as well as NPN in general. A truly excellent choice too with Lon now assuming the duties for helping out in the category now. Congratulations for this decision to both parties making the exchange here, and to us at NPN for the fine moderations being provided. :toast:

I'm a little late jumping on the band wagon, but Dan thank you and enjoy a well-deserved break from what I'm sure is a very time-consuming task.

Lon, congratulations and I know from my experience working with you, that you will be a great moderator.

Thank you both.

A big thanks to both Dan and Lon - two photographers whose work I admire a lot.

:toast: and a big thanks to Dan for not only his years of service as one of the moderators of ES&S, but more importantly for the inspiration he has provided through his wonderful imagery, and a style and vision he can truly call his own.

Thank you Guy, Marc and Jim for the opportunity! I'm looking forward to helping out.

Oh, and Bill, drop me an email offline and I'll provide you my PayPal account where you can deposit the funds for the EP!

Thanks all for the welcome!

Lon
