Walking around the local zoo ponds the other day, the light on these sunken leaves caught my attention. 30D, f/6.3, 1/250, ISO 400, cropped, polarizer. C&C welcome.

Colorful abstract Rob and very nice lighting, I like how the light has brought out the reds. Nice work with this one!

I really like this, Rob - many many places for your eyes to go, and there are hints of deep interesting things waiting to be explored. Thanks!

There's a nice glow to this.

Wonderful light and glow in this intimate shot Rob! Plenty of detail to get lost in and some nice contrasting shapes too.
One thing I learned from Tim E. was to avoid lines leading out of frame. I would clone out the stem at upper left to keep the eyes focused on the wonderful scene within. Wonderful shot!

Thanks for the input. This type of image is different than what I normally shoot. I'll try and remember that tip, Wayne, and may give cloning a try with this image.
