ps a famous workgroup leader who shall remain nameless was complaining about the lack of birds, but really how many do you need?

Bill, great shot, love the sky and fg. if you can tone down the highlites just a tad it will be awesome! That cover shot of the birds on your site is exceptional. Happy Thankgiving!

Nice image! I like the clouds. Also really like the snow geese. Nice flight shots. I think I know of which leader you are talking about. I recieve his email bulletins and he was complaing about the lack of birds.

Great work, Bill! Was a blast shooting with you. Folks, Bill's sharp eyes led us to see at least 35 species of birds throughout the refuge. Too bad we don't have pics of all of them!

Bill, nice shot! I also managed to get a few landscape shots in between shooting some bird pics.
Sorry I didn't get to catch up with you and Paul while down there. I'm STILL wading through far too many shots from there. Hopefully I'll have some posted soon.

Beautiful! It looks like you had some great conditions. Your gallery shots are definitely motivating me to get my butt down there!!

Bob, sorry we missed you. I shot 3000 and Paul somewhat less so it took way too long to go through them and sort them out. Need to learn the lessons!

I did tweak this image a little and came up with this version, not sure if it will show on the web though.

Pretty sweet, Bill! I'm viewing on a laptop, so it's difficult to distinguish colors/contrast differences between the two, but with the possible exception of a hot spot or two in the second, I think that one views better. Fantastic clouds and great colors throughout.
