I'm sitting up here staring at a near-full moon with a ring taking up a quarter of the sky. I pointed my D2X and 28-105mm lens at it, but it doesn't come close to taking it all in. I could try a stitch, but it's dark enough that I'm afraid things would move between the first and last shots...
So - I hope there's someone out there tonight with a wide-angle lens and a great FG looking up at the sky and snapping shots of the gorgeous ring around the moon.
