Bonjour
Before mating the female grebe would always make a kind of little dance on the nest. The feathers arround her neck would just open like a flower.
I was quite surprise when I so the picture, as it look like it has been taken with a wide angle lens.
The picture was taken with the 500mm and the 1.4.
This is the full frame shot and it has been taken from my floating hide last spring.
Bonne journee
A bientot

Hi Frederic ,
Another fantastic photo! But what I'm really interested in seeing now is a photo of your floating hide, and how it's set up.
Cheers,
Dan.

Beautiful image Frederic!
Only slight nit is the whites on the BG Grebe which look a tad hot too me.
Great stuff.

Another class image Frederic
If it were my image I'd perhaps soften off those defined edges in the BG to the left but that's just a minor nit and doesn't really effect the images appeal at all.
Don't forget what I said the other day, if you have images of your hide you'd like to share but have nowhere to put them then I'll happily give them a page on my server
Another great shot in this series.... looking forward to more..

Beautiful again!!! The Grebe in the background is a bit hot on my monitor but the bird in the foreground is exposed just perfect. Well done and keep them comming, please!!!
