Just a heads up for this exhibition, I went today to the Manchester Museum where the show is opening, some fantastic shots, some not so good, overall feeling is that its overstating the case somewhat although I should say that my point of view is as a townie, odd things like a quote about a "raging debate about cat ownership" made me think that its an issue that is being overstated ?, is there a raging debate aabout cat ownership ?, maybe but not in our house.
Overall was worth going to see, dissapointed that the accompanying book wasnt available (although not as dissapointed as the photographers I'll guess) as I'd planned to buy it and absorb at length the photographs and the discussion.
From a photographic perspective there are some stunning shots of birds of prey in action.

not sure it would be a raging debate, but i do curse every time i see a cat these days. a friend of mine who is a national trust warden told me some huge fiigure one day about how many wild birds and mammals domestic cats kill each year, and it is astounding.
