This is taken off the nature trail at Jordan Lake, off 751.

The low lake levels have exposed these tree stumps. Great blue herons are here most of the evenings I've visited this fall.

Pretty pretty pretty! Nice colors and the silhouettes are so cool. I spent this morning walking areas of the shoreline on Lake James that I have never reached before because of the drasticly low water levels-Isn't it weird being both concerned and intrigued at the same time? :wavey:

Nice shot Matthew - the lake where i live in GA looks identical to this with the stumps showing.
