I found this southeast of Lexington. Of course, there are many scenes like this around Kentucky. I went out to shoot an old barn that has been stripped down to a frame, but the BG was no good for a sunset. I'll go back and shoot a sunrise at the other barn. So I took off down a two lane unmarked slightly paved road(the best kind!) and this is what I found.

The sky presented a real nice color palette for you Dominic. Glad you were able to get out on the backroads. Every time I've passed through, I've always wanted to stop and spend some time shooting the tabacco barns in Kentucky.

Dominic love the sky. The field is beautiful also, the barns in AR usually have alot of stuff (junk) around.
Hi, Dominic. I like the scenic view, but I think the barn is to dark with no detail showing.Just a small thing that PS can correct for a more pleasing image. Love the sky and grass colour

Dominic, the sky is amazing, great capture. The green grass and pink sky is really pleasing to the eye.

Nice find with the barn, Dominic. Though being one of the major elements of the image, it does come off a bit dark. ND Grads? or a PS Blend?
I used a grad ND for this one. I was working in such a hurry after striking out at my first location that I forgot to expose a frame for the barn, and it gets a little noisy when I bring the curves up. This spot is only about thirty minutes and a fence jump from my house, so I will certainly re-visit it.
