Saw the nice male cardinal in another thread, thought I might as well provide a mate.

Larry - really nice cardinal. Glad to see you were able to enjoy the brief snow we had the other day!

Thanks Tim. Enjoy snow?
Just glad this one would sit still for a bit. Wish small birds were not so nervous.

Hey Larry, nice shot. I'm not sure how well a long distance relationship would work out but heck, you never know!
You're right about the small birds being nervous ... but then again at my feeder they are sometimes on the menu for our resident red tailed hawk. I've seen him take one and seen signs of several others who didn't make it. Oh well, the cycle of life at work.

Thanks Wayne. We will let them arrange their own transportation, right?
Sad, but the hawk needs to eat, right?
Have a great week!

Thanks Gale, glad the two leaves were there. I will admit I did not place the cardinal.

Larry, good catch, can you send some of that snow our way this year?
Posted by Larry Daniel on November 26, 2007 at 9:39 PM
Thanks Tom. Lots of winter left, we both may get more than we really want. Of course if we get some you can always come visit.

Larry, great cardinal shot, love the detail. Looks like you got more snow than I did here, just enough to say it snowed.

Thanks David. Just enough to make it interesting shooting. It was gone early in the AM.
