Hello I recently went camping for an evening at Mount Magazine and went out for some early morning shooting. I shot several panorama images (my favorite) that morning. Mount Magazine an Arkansas State Park is the highest point in the state. I have a couple more panos on my blog http://galerainwater.com/blog/that I liked also. Thanks for looking and any comments or critique appreciated.

I've made countless photo trips to Mount Magazine in the last few years, but have yet to see it with fall foliage. Your photo gives me an idea of what I've been missing. The hollow in the middle of the picture is nicely framed.

Gale, nice shot here and your blog has some very nice shots as well. I need to get mine up and running. It is on my list.

Gale, all I can do is echo John and Tom. I like the colors in this image and the ones on your blog. Very nice work!

Hi Gale, I really like the third shot on your blog ... very nice! While I like the color and distant landscape in this image I find the fg commands too much attention. Even so, it's a shot I would have taken were I fortunate enough to be there.

Thanks for sharing and great work on the blog! :wavey:

Gale - I'm going to echo Wayne on this one. The third shot on your blog is very nice - this one seems claustrophobic somehow. But the colors are nice.

Gale, I'll echo the comments about the third shot in your blog. Very nice. This post seems to be a little tight on all sides. I think a little more sky here would especially help. Great work.

I think I know exactly where you were standing when you took this shot!

Everyone thanks for all of the comments and critique, it's much appreciated.
This is very interesting to me. One of the things I like about panos is I try to show what it is like standing there and what do I see. Your eye can see a wide angle. I checked the specs on this image. I shot this at 26mm vertical with 8 images stitched together. So it's very wide actually at 26mm but stitch 8 shots together, it's really wide. Stitching almost seams to compress the image perspective but different than just shooting a wide andgle lens. I understand it's the foreground that make this shot seam more claustrophobic.
Foreground is a big part of my landscape work, and this was the most interesting foreground I could find while the light was still good.
Anyways most of you commented on #3 with more sky so I wanted to provide a better look.
