Heron in flight
I managed to get out on Sunday morning when the light was not bad at all. Saw this heron go down and as I moved towards where he went down he did what I hoed he would do and flew up. Taken with 300 2.8 hand held and stabilizer off my mistake. All views welcome

That's close with a 300mm

Looks like it could do with a bit of sharpening and perhaps a bit of selective shadow/highlight under the far wing :wavey: :smile:
