Another nice capture Andy
Again though, you've got a 'blown' highlight which does spoil it a bit for me - sorry mate
The comp is quite nice though I'd try and clone out the OoF reddish bit just above the head.
Lots of nice sharp detail and yet another Dipper image better than any of mine

Shooting RAW is no hardship Andy - have you been shooting RAW/jpeg combos, or have you just been on jpeg only?
Your EOS utility will do a straight conversion of .CR2 canon raw files to 8 or 16 bit TIFF files which you can open directly in PS and you'll have about a 'squillion' times more control over your image.
It's gotta be simple matey - hell, I can do it - so it MUST BE

Andy,
Composition is fine for me, although some of the distracting bits and bobs could do with clearing away as t'other Andy has said.
RAW can't be beaten for this kind of work though imo so he's right on that front too.

Nice shot Andy. Comps good for me. Agree with Andy. Shoot raw/jpg combo until you're happy with RAW processing and by doing that, you get to play with raw and still have those thingies Would love a bash at Dippers
