I am not going to rant aboutr Canon (enough of that on the other Naturephotographers forum......) but i see that other Canon locations have all their plans in place for the recall of the Mark 3. Why has nothing be mentioned on the Canon UK website?????

They are always about 2 to 2 days behind the rest.

Hi I believe there is also a new firmware update to go along with the sub mirror assembly, unfortunately have seen a few reports that it doesn't seem to have fixed it on the cameras that the people who posted reports own, although not a canon user myself it would be a shame if this particular camera cannot be used to its full potential.

Phillip.

If you check DPreview it will tell a different story Philip.....with regards to the latest firmware upgrade for some it seems to work, saying that..i am more interested to send my camera to Canon to have it fully checked out.
