My 6 degree venture out on Rampart Range road showed me that I may have a problem with one (or possibly both) of my Compur shutters. The shutter on my 150/5.6 was running very slow at 1/2 second to 1 second. It seemed fine at 1/8th and below. It normally runs fine in warmer weather, but I have had one instance where it opened without me depressing the release. Does anyone know if there is a shop in the Springs (preferable) or Denver that will do maintenance work on Compurs or large format shutters in general? What is the realistic turn around time?

Thanks,

Mel-

Hi Mel,

You should also check out Flutot's Camera Repair. Carol is a genius in fixing these types of problems. Turnaround is about 2 weeks last time I used her. Scott Bacon recommended her to me and I've been quite happy with her.
