D300 & CaptureNX

Hi

Has anyone got a UK Nikon D300 yet? Did it come with CaptureNX?

Mine didn't, even though it said on the box. The dealer in is going to comtact Nikon about it, but is it a general problem.

Also is there a fix so Capture4 can be used with D300 RAW files?

Hey up Martin,
I suggest you download the capture NX from the nikon site and just use it in trial mode (lasts a month) which will tide you over.
Lucky fella, looking forward to seeing some pics.

Look on the piece of paper with nikon capture nx on it with all the different languages down the side,at the bottom there is a product key,once you have downloaded nx trial from nikon just enter this code,the camera does not come with the software!Hope this helps/the dealers don't seem to know this!!!!!!!!

I downloaded the trial yesterday, I'll check out the box for a code tonight. Was it on the box (there's a captureNX promotion sticker) or a seperate card/paper inside that I didn't see.

Hi there is a piece of paper in the box along with your warranty papers its plain white with a little bit of black text on across the bottom of the piece of single paper is a thick black line which is a sticker you peel it off and the CD code for NX is there.

Yep, I nearly missed it too!

Just an A5 sheet with a single line in 11 languages and a thick black line at the bottom! The thick black line is a peel-off sticker!

Thanks folks. Found the paper now. From the Nikon web site it seems the first camera's are shipping with a code and you download from the web, but from December they are shipping with the CD
Just need some daylight to try it out now!
