Hi everyone
Went to Donna Nook for the first time last weekend - I have to admit to being a bit surprised when coming off the shoreline to find that half of Lincolnshire was there
Fantastic to get so close to the seals, and it was kind of amusing to watch other photogs - especially the guy who would just walk in front of other people's line of sight, point a lens in a random seal's face, and then machine gun them for 5 seconds, before moving on. Spray and pray...
Anyway, I have a bunch of shots I like, but I thought I'd post this one as the blood around the main seal's mouth adds a bit of drama for me, but I don't know if this is enough for anyone else?
Techs: D80, CW metering, Sig 500, ISO 400, 1/250 @ F4.5, T'pod, PP in Lightroom and CS2, very slight crop for comp.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Mark
Great action and the composition works well - I would be tempted to crop a little from the bottom/foreground but that is a minor point!

Very nice image Mark - no unexploded bombs last weekend then
Will be going again myself in the next week or so weather permitting.
