Paul - I'm viewing this on an HP1940LCD at 1280x1024 which I've just borrowed - and this Bunting looks STUNNING on it.

From here it's a great shot :toast: :toast:

Thanks Rene and Andy. As a newbie to birds photography I must confess to being rather pleased with this one.

Thats a cracking picture of a snow bunting Paul and the credit goes to the photographer not the camera

Super shot, agree it aint the camera its the person behind.... a super image although a tad tight for my personal taste...

I am assuming when you say 100% crop you mean full frame.....

Agree it's a bit tight Phil that's why I hesitated before posting. When I say a 100% crop I mean this is equal to actual pixels.

Paul,

Please don't hesitate to post, although tight this is a super diagnostic image, I have to admit I struggle with this percentage crop thing... thats just me...

John/Phil for the record:

Of course it is the photographer that takes the camera and NOT the camera. I was just mentioning the Mark 3 because it gets a lot of negative publicism...........

SO let me rephrase:

Excellent image Paul, great exposure and pinpoint sharp! Dont you agree that the Mark 3 is a great camera?

very, very nice image. I don't agree that it's tight in the frame, big yes, but that's what I like to see now and again. Would knock an audience off their seats in a lecture
