Coast range
Took off from work a little early upon hearing about snow in the coast range yesterday. Found some, mostly on the East side, but it was going fast in the drizzle.
Canon 350D, F11 5 sec., 34 mm.

Larry,
This is pretty cool. I really the trees in the upper half. The bottom might be a little too cluttered. What do you think of cropping this just above the big rock in the lower left?

Thanks for the help. How about this? If I crop to above the rock, it cuts the water on an abrubt edge. I feel that the V created by the stump and tree add to the image. Disagree? This seems to eliminate some clutter.

I like the cropped version. Don't crop any further, this works as is. A great scene for sure!!! The lines of the trees and the flow of the water all work VERY well!! The bits of snow add a nice contrast.

Well done I like it!!!

This has natural framing all over it. It's a nice scene, but it sorta feels messy up in the foreground to me...

I'm in agreement. I really like the trees and water, but the llc isn't doing much for me. I'd crop it to a square format.

I'm with the croppers here. The top half to 2/3 just has so much to offer--it's got a painterly depth that I lose focus of when the bottom of the frame is in view. Cool shot either way!

Larry, the crop with the second one is much better to me. Something else just seems a little off though on this image. I am not sure what but it's still grabbing me all that much.
