After installation of CS3, cannot open Bridge, error message comes up as 'Unable to open Adobe Bridge and has to close down...........do you want to report the error to Microsoft................'
Photoshop 3 opens without problem. Trying to open Bridge 3 from Photoshop generates the same message.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled it twice, each time with the same problem.
Any suggestions
Thanks
I doubt this can be easily resolved online. I would try to uninstall and reinstall from scratch. If that doesn't work, my best suggestion is to call Adobe technical support (and unfortunately be prepared to spend a lot of time on hold).

I fogot to add, the OS is Windows XP with SP2. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice to no avail. I wonder if there is something within the OS that is causing this.
Automatic installer ran and updated.

I had problems similar to those you describe. The remedy was to un-install the MS mouse software. This solved the problem and the mouse works perfectly well without.

Paul, Bill thanks for the comments. There is a process running in the background that is preventing Bridge 3 from opening, Do not know how to isolate it though.
How do you uninstall the mouse software? Yes I have CS2 still on the PC. I know of a few who have both programs on the PC, though not open togather. They have not encountered problems.
