Got together today with a friend from Flickr and we shot the Washington Side and Oregon side of the Gorge...did some off trail stuff to and some hidden waterfalls as well.
By tomorrow morning you won't be able to get this shot until the water goes down....This area has lots of "slots" and I had to do some serious footing and jumping to get here...wet to the knees....
Yes, the water was really that green/aqua color....go check it out yourself!!!

Oh my gosh, Darren! That is so cool! Love the low angle, the s-curve, the swooooosh of water coming straight at me. The colors are nicely complementary and seasonal as well. Love that green water!

Hey Darren. How's it going? I like this image a lot, the bottom 3/4 that is. The color and the motion are very cool to say the least! I do however think the upper falls are little overexposed for my liking. Are you headed out shooting tomorrow? I am thinking of going somewhere.

In my master file there is plenty of detail in the falls! Yeah, Ill be out somewhere until the snow stops me.....then I have to come home and hang myself.....opps I mean Christmas lights......They call me the Grinch around here!!!!!
Probably be up around the gorge.....

Man, this is a great perspective! I love the colors and that rock on the right. The falls look hot to me too--I'm glad your master has the detail. Wet to the knees huh?... bet that was inspiring!
