Still no Water Rail for me The rats and Pipits keep stealing all the food. I'm thinking my head off to find a way to prevent the rats stealing it all. In the meantime I'll have to do it with these two.

Beautiful colours and tone Edwin. Nice detail and composition. A little more space might improve what is already a fine image.

Oh Edwin, just look at those ripple reflections on the birds chest - cracking stuff
I'd be giving myself a big pat on the back if I was you
Paul might have a point though - just a tiny bit smaller in the frame, just enough so the head of the bird and the reflection are a tad further from the frame edge

Great light and the reflections are spot on,agree with a bit more room.

Hi Edwin,
A lovely looking image and as Andy has already mentioned to capture those reflected ripples on the chest makes this image even more special.

Hi Edwin,
Lovely shot, the ripples is an added bonus which makes it super. There a few dust spots on the left of the image that need sorting. As far as the rats go take an airgun into your hide and trim a few up.
