Does this work (c)
Took this sometime ago when I first took up photography in 2004, with me faithful Nikon D1 (Now sold, still miss it though)

This is Kaln the Eagle Owl leaving what was our favourite Oak.

Self grown camo gear

Thanks for looking :toast:

Must dash as I think I hear the bath screaming at me:biggrin:

Nikon D1
Sigma 50-500mm

As Tony said - it makes you jump when it pops on the screen - if it does that Vince then it's got to be good :toast:

Like it a lot - planty of movement with a nice sharp focus point where it matters :wavey:

Hi Vincent. Well its always nice to see Kahn, but I'm not too keen on this one - I know you have far better shots of him flying than this one! You've come a long way since 04.

I like Kahn but not too keen on the bg this time, although it is a beautiful oak but Kahn is a bit lost in the pic.

Agree with Paula. The owl blends in rather than pops out and is lost in the texture of the tree bark. Would be worth pursuing the idea with some remote flash either side and also waiting for the bird to be further from the tree. I think the wings need to me sharp on this bird, just because of the plumage - they remind me of a bruised banana  :wavey:
