Small Birds in Flight
I have been trying to photograph small birds in flight this year with very little success - the best i have uploaded here. Has anybody got any similar shots - there doesn't seem to be many around.

I have on occassion spent time trying to get the small birds around the feeders in flight,but whenever I set out to do this the light fails,so I never end up with something good enough to post.

I love the first one. The light through the feathers makes them look like a delicate fan.

I'm really envious of your kingfisher images Anthony. This was my main objective this year but after walking many a long mile along river banks and canals i have yet to see one.Graham

It is very difficult, I have been trying on and off for a year or two now! Well done with your shot, pretty good.
