Hi All,
Not been contributing much lately due to working away from home and having busy weekends, thankfully I am now finished work until the new year and am looking at getting some photography done, in particular a Barn Owl shot that I have had in mind for a few months, so hopefully can pull it off!! But here is one from my Kingfisher session a few weeks back now.

Lighting wasn't doing you any favours was it, but a nice action capture of the one that got away
I've still got monitor problems so can't say for sure, but it looks a bit contrasty with some hot highlights here - but like I say, that's probably my problem not yours

Hi Rob, I like the scales left in the beak...nice!! Think it is slightly hot in areas like the blue on the back and tail. Nothing that can't be sorted. Nice comp and good action, and I'd try lightening that eye a bit. Having said all that, I've never had the opportunity to get a single frame of these, so I'd take it
