It's been a while since posting here. This particular one is an alpine lakes wilderness creek at the peak of fall.
An update: I'm in the process of completely overhauling my gear. I just got the 40d; new lenses to follow.

Nice upgrade That is on my list to do next year. This is a nice shot - I wish the color onthe rocks was a tad less green but sweet shot overall. How do you like the 40D so far ?
I will finally touch the 40d on wednesday. Will hope to brew up my first batch of new images soon after. Might have to try and capture nature at its fiercest ( big flood watch around here).

It is so hard to capture our forests well Trevor, but this one does a bang up job of it. The stream really pulls you into the beautiful vegetation. The Big Leaf Maple leaf in the foreground is just right. My only negative is the greens appear a tad over-saturated to me.

Hanging and framing material in my eyes Trevor. This is beautiful and peaceful. Wonderful work! Whether you placed the maple leaf or it was there, it's at the right spot.
And yes you will like the 40D. Not sure what you are upgrading from by I am happy with mine so far. The 40D with my 24-70L is producing some nice images for sure!

A strikingly beautiful scene that captures the NW well.

Trevor: I like your image very much. The silky smooth water winding through the cobblestones and the greens in the forest remind me of walks I have had in that wonderful country. Cute title.
