Hello all, I know I haven't been posting much this year but my job has had me in it's clutches since march. We have been working on implementing a complete healthcare system for 12+ hospitals statewide. We have been on vacation lockdown for more than 7 months, we are currently in the process of completeing this implementation this month by going live with the final 5 hospitals in the south state region.
The unfortunate thing is I had to have emergency back surgery this past week and I am missing out on all the fun. If you call being in constant pain missing out.
But it has given me some valuable time to go through the archives and do some processing and such.
I would like your opinion on this "studio" flower comp.
Hoping to be more active in the coming months.

Joe, I like the lighting and composition.
For my personal preferance, maybe the cropping is a bit too tight on the right and top ?
Hope your recovery is speedy, so you can get back to the grind !
A good photography friend of mine here in Houston is also under "lockdown" for a healthcare computer system rollout! Must be something contageous.

Joe,
Sorry you're missing out on work under the circumstances.
The lighting in this in nice, but I think it might be even better with a white or maybe even silver reflector on the left to bounce a little more light into the face of the lily. I'm actually kinda surprised with the strength of the light that it is not giving some transparency to the flower petals.
And I agree with Bill. A tiny bit more room around the edges would be nice.
