The artist's reception is tomorrow.
Finally get to see my photos in their new home.
I have twenty seven 20"x30" prints on permanent display in the Courthouse.

BTW, I like how the photos are presented on your website. The series title are not the best, but the presentation of each is nice.
.. And the photos are nice of course. :)

Great accomplishment Michael!! If for some reason I need to travel to fresno I'll be sure to check out the display. How long will they be on display? It sure doesn't hurt knowing a few of the local judges and lawyers!!
Michael, this is quite an accomplishment. Most would be thrilled to have one image posted in this fine arena. To have this many at one location on permanent display is a true legacy. Congratulations on this very fine achievement. Enjoy the opening of the new facility too

Congratulations, Michael. This is simply awesome.
I know what I'll be doing the next time I pass through Fresno.

Congratulations!!!!! I hope things go very well for you. This is great!!!
Congrats Michael...your website is great, stunning work. My favorite shot of yours is a reflection of a sequoia in a pond...it has mood like I've never seen. In fact, I've never seen a sequoia right next to a body of water, your image really captivated me. Where was it taken?

Congrats Michael! I've only been to Fresno once but I'll keep it in mind.
What an amazing day... my feet barely touched the ground the day after because of the treatment I received the previous evening. The response from the Justices and their staff to my photography was overwhelming.
There was a little presentation and the photographers were asked to come up for a photo with the Presiding Justice while being presented with an etched glass picture frame that has a photo of the new courthouse and the CA State Seal with this inscription just below it.
"With Deep Appreciation for Your Extraordinary Artistic Contribution to the New California Fifth District Court of Appeal Courthouse"
There are 225 photographs in the collection from 80 different photographers and I have the distinct honor of having 27 in the collection.
Leslie (my wife) and I agreed...that the amount of attention we received was almost embarrassing. If this is what celebrities go through on a daily basis...I can see why it would be very hard to remain humble.
We were about to leave and had dinner plans with a fellow photographer and her hubby...when security stopped us at the front door. Justice Hill would like to see you on the second floor before you leave. Leslie looked at me and said "what did you do?" The security officer stated I should bring my wife too. So...the security officer escorted us to the elevator and took us up. Justice Hill was waiting for us in the hallway...." I wanted you to see this before you left, this room wasn't open for the tours. He took us to the personal chambers of Supreme Court Justice Marvin Baxter...where two of my photographs reside! Justice Hill then stated "Justice Baxter...loves your work"
All in all it was an amazing experience!
Thanks for all the feedback over the years... the members at NPN have helped me tremendously.
