Anyone interested in photographing snow geese can find 460,000 at Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge as of yesterday. The count went from around 125,000 last week to the present number. Bald eagles are numbering around 187 right now. I was there a few years ago with those kinds of snow geese numbers and it was a blast...what a site to behold!

Doesn't the famous Bosque del Apache NWR get around 30,000 snows.

Thanks, Don. That must be quite an experience to see that many. I'd love to shoot some (with a camera) during low light sometime.

I was able to go there just about every week, two years ago and saw the tremendous flocks in action.

Here is a link to some shots I have....the last two on the page are from Squaw Creek!

Nice work, Larry. I don't see how they keep from colliding with each other (maybe they don't?).

Larry nice shots of the snow geese, with that many in one place, it'd be hard not to get a few good images.
