Very Nice. I bet you can't wait for fall to come around again! :toast: :toast:

Darren, the color of the water is nice but the comp overall is not anything I am thrilled about. Not bad but not great either. I think I would try to shoot from a lower angle and see how that looks as one possible option.

Let me know when you go there sometime, I'll join you if I can.

Looks like a nice place to sit, but the photo...overall...just looks like a snapshot. No feeling, ya know? The comp is well balanced, but still has no feeling.

Lots of potential at this place, but as the others have said, this feels a little pedestrian. As much as I like the foreground interest, my eye keeps going over to the series of cascades or riffles (or whatever they're called - we don't have water in CO, so my liquid vocabulary is limited to beer and....well, that's it..)

That being said, I think if the light were more flattering, this comp could sing. The pool is a sweet element that I'd try to emphasize in future shots.
