Little Oyk!
This is one from Norfolk earlier this year. I was reasonably satisfied given that it was late morning on a sunny day with a black and white bird!
Techs D2N, 300/4 + 1.4x,f6.3,1/1000 sec, ISO 250

Perhaps a tad too much room at the top, but a super image :wavey:

I really like the contrasts between all the colors. The orange eye ring against the red eye....

Behaving more like a parrot than an Oyc - good exposure though and a nice pic overall.

Lovely picture with great exposure control. It always amazes me how the smallest feature (the eye) makes a picture and the tiniest catchlight brings it all to life.
