Hi,
Another from my session last weekend, not 100% sure here, a slight crop (slightly larger than I am normally comfortable with) for composition. Also not sure on the exact ID, I'm afraid I am not great with these juveniles....
All the best
Phil

Well done Phil. Great timing. Wish it was one of mine. I reckon it's a juv. Heron Gull but I'm not an expert. Perhaps someone else can give us a positive ID.
A nice bit of action captured here Phil
Perhaps a juvenile Herring Gull.

Yep that's a juv Herring Gull. From memory that pale 'window' between the primaries and secondaries isolates juv Herring and GBB but GBB has a narrow tail band rather then the broad one you see here.
Now watch somebody humiliate me and say it's a GBB Gull!!

Impressive Phil
What's that in the top BG - OoF flotsam - I might be tempted to get rid, but that's just me

The old 20D works its magic again
superb image. excellent sharpness. obviously more light in your neck of the woods than down on the south coast. it was dark most of the w/end.
it looks like it's breakdancing. (breakdancing? is that an old word now?)
mark
I'd go along with Herring Gull too!
