This was one of the first shots i took when i got my sigma 500mm, about a year ago. i thought I'd lost the files from this shoot but i found them saved onto the wrong hard drive when i was doing a backup last week.

Hi Graham,
Stunning image with great colours. I like the perch and the lovely smooth BG. Only nit is it is composed to centrally, ideally would be nice to have space for it to "look" into.

Yeah very nice! Too central though. But Nick will like it as you can add some text behind it Only joking Nick Processing looks great and the whites are very well controlled which apparently seems hard to do with so little of it

Nice young female! I'd prefer the shot in the centre to no shot at all!
The perch is unusual too.

Hi Graham,
Too central or not , it's still a superb image

Thanks for all the comments, I have cropped as much as I can to make it less central - is this better or is it too tight now?

Great improvement!

Looks far more balanced now for me, but a lot tighter which some like and some don't. I like it

Repost feels a tight, even for me
Maybe converting to a vert, by adding canvas would be another option maybe
Its a beauty though
