Update On -- Dawn Fishing

I haven't seem any pics of the Willamette since the storm. This was taken in late October. Comments and Critiques appreciated.

Hey Larry. No pics over here of the Willamette from the storm. It's a an ok image. The colors are nice with the moon above. Just nothing jumping at me. I think what it is for me is that I have this nice peaceful feeling about it until I realize the freeway is the BG. Just my thoughts.

Thanks for offering the first comment Adrian and this is nothing more than what you noticed! I hope your current venture is going well and I'll miss your critiques when my paid time runs out next month on this forum.

The soft lighting and the moon are really nice touches here Larry. The color of the sky and water is beautiful in a subtle way. I wish it was easier to get past the freeway because that's some great color back there. I also wish the boat wasn't quite so close to the leaves, and I'd be tempted to crop the vegetation at the bottom.

I'm on the right track then since all the comments were my thoughts as well.. This shot was chosen for rear cover of an upcoming publication over an alternate I posted on ESS the same day. Neither are cover material in my opinoin and the alternate was better recieved by the forum and favored by the office staff of the client, but the final choice was made in a bigger office.
