Not for critique as such - the comps off and I know there's a seed in the beak - all I want to know is if the colour balance, highlights and shadows look good and accurate

The original tiff (from a D200 NEF) has been up-rezzed to 6000 pixels - yep - the Alamy submissions are pending, not that I expect my images to sell well there, I'm just after passing the QC!

The big tiff has been saved as a 300dpi Q12 jpeg and this file has then been run through GenFrac5 down to 720pixels at 72dpi to give me this image for posting.

Confussed................me too

But the burning question is have I got the calibration right - I hope so because Christmas is cancelled in our house due to the fact that the Samsung is gone and has now been replaced with an HP2465 and the Spyder has been ousted by an EyeOne2.

So if it looks okay to you please say - that way I can enter the poor house a happy bloke

Thanks folks :toast:

Hi Andy it looks very nice on my apparently very easy to calibrate samsung  . I can see the subtle changes in tone on the wite sides of its head from white to a shade of grey, blacks look black and I can see the subtle changes of tone colour and shade upon its chest.

Phillip.
