I'm happy to report that the white stuff is falling on the sierra, finally. Looks like a good couple feet or more should arrive by the end of tomorrow. I drove up to Aspendale after work yesterday and the gate on 168 above cardinal resort was still open. I wonder when it will close? Probably today or by the end of ths storm. Sunday morning looks like the perfect time to get some images as the storm should have ended by then. Hopefully it won't be too hard getting up to North lake! :)
Hey Cory, thanks for the update here. Kind of figured with us getting wet here in So Cal there would be some nice snow fall up there too. I'm on my way, well, almost. I have to wait until I get through Jury Duty and Dr. appointment around the first of January time frame and then we can talk about some dates to try to link up in the Alabama Hills. I will try to make it on a weekend so you might be off work without having to take time away. Anyway, we will keep in touch.

Well, if it hasn't just snowed ON the Yosemite Valley floor...
some others might be interested also.....
MLK is ONE of the few holidays I get...
so I WILL be somewhere....
If it just rained...fog in the Mono Basin might provide hoar frost
Mother Nature will tell us where to go ....
