Prompted by Andy for a B&W landscape I offer the following which I think more suited to the medium than my last post.

5D 16-35 lens @ 23mm 1/400 f10 ISO 100 Polarizing filter.

Certainly impressive - and all for me, ahh, that's nice

This is looking down the Glen with Glen Coe over to the right yes?

The big rock so off to the left drags my eye a bit, but it certainly is a dramatic shot - the poly has worked a treat on the sky :toast:

All for you Andy so you should be impressed. Yes Glencoe is to the right. As for the rock well I thought it counter balanced the highlight in the clouds that's why I included it and emphasised it in the processing. Perhaps the composition would work without it. It's the sky that makes it for me.

Nice,I get a real sense of movement as if you were being pulled at great speed toward the horizon,B+W certainly works well here :toast: :toast:

this looks like one of those images in my fathers old pentax magazines. the sort that inspired me to get into photography in the first place. huge thumbs up from me.

Lovely B&W shot, really well done :toast: . my only nit would be that the foreground lacks interest.

A beauty, for me it certainly works.

I not too keen on B&W myself but i think it really works on this image. Much more dramatic than would have been in colour. I think i'll have a rethink after seeing this.
