Hi, I am a new member, but have been visiting the forums for over a year now and decided that it was time to post.
This image is from Arches Natinal Park about a month ago. Please let me know what you think. I would also appreciate any comments on what could be done to improve this shot or what I should look out for in the future.
Thanks Ron

First of all, welcome to the forum Ron! Nice comp of Park Ave in Arches. My only critique is that the color balance appears a bit blue. Add a little yellow and red and I think this shot will pop quite a bit more. Cheers!

Nice shot! I do agree with the color balance. Welcome to the forum!

Strangely, I don't mind the blue cast so much. Maybe it's that cool early morning feeling coming through. It does look a little tilted CW to my eye, however. Perhaps just an illusion. The composition has a lot going for it. Nice work there.
Nice stuff. I agree with Marc on this one while I do see the blue on my display I dont find it a problem and like it. It does seem a nip cockeyed clockwise to me.

I guess I need to recalibrate my monitor, it looks more like a pink cast on mine. I'll recalibrate and see what it looks like then.
Thanks for the replys

I agree with the color cast. However, the clarity and comp here are great. Thanks for posting.

Let me join everyone in welcoming you, and let me join Marc and RichieV in saying that the color cast is no problem for me. I think the shot is outstanding!
