While visiting Tim's Cloudland Gallery was today's primary objective, I couldn't resist the urge to take a camera along - not to record the gallery (nice job, Larry!), but to take a few pictures of my own. Lost Valley was on the way home, so I dropped by for a while.

Very nice Tim. Looks wet and foggy. A bit surprised there were still some leaves.
Thanks for the comment, sorry we missed you. Tim had a great turn out.

Tim, I like the silhouette in the foreground and the fog that seems to be hanging just in the air. It looks like you got a little hiking in also.

There's nothing like a hike through misty woods filled with Beech trees. Nice job, Tim.

Sounds like you had a full day on Saturday Tim. Glad you were able to get out for some photos there, that wasn't going to happen around here unless you were willing to risk your neck! Freezing rain and cold temps had most sane people indoors by a nice fire.
Spot on exposure/sharpness and a neat scene but I find the negative space a little overwhelming. The mixture of dark/light tree trunks set against the mist and colors of the leaves are very nice. Thanks for posting.
Tim nice image, I like the silhouette, the fog and some color still left on the trees. It all adds up to a great shot

Tim, looks like a photograph that had been torn and then placed on a black background. I like your different perspective, the Autumn colors and fog have created an unusual image. I like your creativity for this one.
Tim, Glad you got a chance to get out. I tend to agree with Wayne about the negative space being a little overwhelming, though the overall technicals are superb.

Thanks, everyone, for the comments. Beech trees really are beautiful trees in the winter - especially if they're slightly damp!
